Coffee Tamps
I love my coffee and have a handmade Coffee tamp (of course). I have located a supplier of coffee tamp bases and I turn the knobs to suit. Each base is stainless steel. Here are examples of the style of coffee tamp handle I can supply. These are all timbers sourced in Australia. Most are native species. The lead time for a coffee tamp is three to four weeks, as the base is imported and I need to factor in shipping. A tamp such as those featured start at $70. The cost varies due to the type of timber used and the features of the knob. When ordering I will need the diameter of the tamp base suitable for your coffee machine.
I also make handmade letter openers!
Offcut Woodworks makes letter openers. A pen paired with a matching letter opener makes a great gift. The Peppercorn letter opener and pen is an example of what Offcut Woodworks can make. This set is not for sale, it was actually a gift to one of my son's teachers.
Handcrafted bowls
I also turn bowls. An example is the one on the right. I'm not sure of the species of timber as it was made out of an old fence post. It is approximately 100mm in diameter. It is not for sale, merely an example of the type of work.
A unique and fancy screwdriver
How about a fancy screwdriver? With notice Offcut Woodworks can craft you one in any timber you desire. The cost will be dependent on the species of timber and starts at $35. This one is mine and was made out of an old floor joist - an unknown eucalypt.
The second style of screwdriver is made from Silky Oak. Less notice is required for this type of screwdriver as parts are readily available. This screwdriver starts at $25 and has one tip, either phillips or standard.
Tea light Holders
Using standard tea light inserts these handcrafted timber tea lights are perfect for outdoor BBQ use. I use the citronella infused tea lights to keep the bugs at bay. I am also able to supply the lights with glass inserts which take lamp oil or citronella oil (each insert comes with a small funnel)
Quick Unpicks
Do you know a sewer or a quilter? These 'quick un-picks' or 'seam rippers' are the perfect bespoke sewing accessory. They are either single or double ended and made using timber or acrylic. Pricing starts at $45.
